Batangas is where I stay during summer vacation in the Philippines. I stay at Taal, my grandmother’s hometown, for a few weeks to bond with my cousins, relatives, and of course my grandma. Strolling around the park and eating street foods are the usual stuff we do during summer. Not a very luxurious yet an awesome family bonding experience for me. We communicate with our cousins about our lives, academics, activities, and fetishes we do in our daily lives.
Photography is also ideal there in Batangas. You could see different sceneries in Batangas especially the “golden hour” around Taal Park.
What’s photography without the portraits? Portraits were overflowing in my camera but of course as an “amateur”, I need to choose quality pics that I could enhance and post on social media platforms. Luckily my cousin is good looking so I had her as my subject. With a little guidance on how she should pose, these are the final products.
I also dedicate this portrait to my dearest grandmother. ❤
Every day is an enjoyable moment for us because I got to distance myself from the city and receive some fresh air. The most unforgettable moment during my stay are my relatives. They will always be in my heart wherever I go.
Those 2 weeks in Batangas were the most precious because I enjoy every bit of it every day. I may not visit them as often as I would before but I would never forget the moments and the memories Batangas gave me. I am looking forward to see them more often when I study senior high school here in the Philippines.
